Forks WA Camping, 3 miles from Rialto Beach!

Enjoy Forks WA Camping at Manitou Lodge.  Manitou Lodge, known for its classic lodge structure and wonderful accommodations, also offers camping! Situated on ten acres of coastal rainforest, our Forks WA camping is just about as far west as you can get in the lower 48 states. The grounds include wonderful trails, lovely areas to picnic, and bits of whimsy… can you find Buddha in our coastal rainforest?

Rialto Beach, the only beach you can drive to in the immediate area, is just 3 miles away. It extends for 1.5 miles, ending with two beautiful sea stacks, tidal pools, and Hole-in-the-Wall, a tunnel in the headland carved out by the surf. An 18 mile hike from Rialto Beach to Cape Alava is a favorite of area backpackers. Just 9 miles away is La Push, First Beach at LaPush, and Olympic National Park’s Second and Third Beaches.  View Tidetables to help plan your time at our local beaches.

The Hoh Rainforest is only 45 minutes from Manitou Lodge and quite possibly the best known attraction in Olympic National Park. Along the famous Hall of Mosses Trail, the moss draped trees are so green year-round that the air itself seems tinted green. Sol Duc Hot Springs are also just a 45 minute drive. An hour’s drive will lead you to Cape Flattery (the most Northwestern point in the lower 48 states) and the Makah Reservation and Cultural Museum at Neah Bay.  Other activities include fishing, biking, hiking, plus shopping, and dining. Twilight fans will enjoy the sights around downtown Forks.
