“Instant-Camping” Tentsites

Would you like to go camping without packing all the gear? We’ve set up 2 private tent campsites for “instant camping”. We provide the tent, sleeping bags/pillows/bag liners/sleeping pads, firepit and covered picnic table, water source and electricity. All you’ll need to bring is your own lantern, towels, cooking utensils, kindling/firewood, food, coffee/tea if you use it, and a way to cook it. All tenters have access to portable toilets and heated outdoor shower. We apologize, but use of the lodge is limited to Lodge, Cottage, and Outback cabin guests. Tentsite I, nearest the lodge, has a large tent allowing accommodations for up to four people. Tentsite II is set up with 2 two-guest tents. Tentsite III, located out in the woods, is a “primitive” site so bring your own stuff! Weather permitting, the tenting season will extend from mid-May to early October. Call if you’re unsure.

The Outback/Tent Campsite Season

The Outback cabins are open Memorial Weekend to early October, while the Tentsites are open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend (check the online booking calendar for precise dates). The cabins offer some of the roughing-it features of camping while at the same time permitting access to the main lodge. The Outback cabins can provide sleeping space for members of larger groups or families. In this configuration, the family members relegated to Outback can shower in a room rented by another family member.
