From Downtown Seattle: Use the Bainbridge Island ferry. At Bainbridge, follow Route 303 to Poulsbo and then Route 3 to the Hood Canal Bridge. Cross the bridge, following Highway 104 West to Highway 101 North. Follow 101 North (it’s really goiing west) through Sequim and Port Angeles, and then on into the Forks area. Just north of Forks, turn onto 110 West. There’ll be signs for La Push, Rialto Beach, and the Olympic National Park at this intersection. After eight miles on 110 (with two signs for us along the way), turn right on Mora Rd. (at the “Three Rivers Resort”) and cross the Sol Duc river.

Look for Kilmer road and a fairly large sign for us on the right about 0.5 miles past the Sol Duc bridge. Turn right on Kilmer and drive for 0.9 mile – we’re on the left just before the road ends. Travel time from Seattle (including the ferry) should be about 3.5 hours.

From North Seattle: Take the Edmonds-Kingston ferry. Follow the signs to Port Gamble and the Hood Canal Bridge. Once you’re at the Hood Canal refer to the directions from Seattle.

From points North: There are several options: 1. Drive south and use the Edmonds-Kingston Ferry as a starting point (see above for further directions). 2. From even further north, exit I-5 at Burlington and take route 20 West onto Whidbey Island. Drive south through Oak Harbor and follow the signs to the ferry to Port Townsend. In Port Townsend, continue on route 20 until it intersects with route 101. From this point, follow 101 North, referring to the directions from Seattle.

From Tacoma: There are two options: 1.Take highway 16 North to Highway 160 West to Highway 3 North. At the Hood Canal Bridge, refer to the directions from downtown Seattle. 2. Take I-5 south to Olympia and exit for Aberdeen/Hoquiam. Once in Aberdeen/Hoquiam, take 101 North to Forks. Drive 0.5 mile north of Forks to the intersection of Highways 101 and 110. At this point, refer to the directions from downtown Seattle.

From Port Angeles and the Victoria Ferry: Take Highway 101 West. Approximate driving time to Forks is 1.5 hours.

From the Portland area: Take I-5 North to just north of Centralia. Exit at route 12 West and follow route 12 through Aberdeen/Hoquiam. Intersect with Highway 101 and follow 101 North through Forks. One mile north of Forks, turn west on Highway 110. At this point, refer to the directions from downtown Seattle.
