2020 Year In Review – A Look Back
New Year’s Day is just around the corner – and what a relief. For most of us, getting 2020 into the rearview mirror is cause enough. for celebration. And yet, the year wasn’t all bad. In fact, we had a great time welcoming so many of you to Manitou Lodge.
There’s nothing quite like a vacation to lighten your step, clear your head, and make you feel alive again. That’s especially true when your vacation destination is as pure and beautiful as the Olympic Peninsula.
While the pandemic did slow things down this year, we were still able to share our little neck of the woods with many nice guests. Even when state mandate closed us to the general public, we welcomed first responders and essential workers.
It felt good to be able to help out our local community, a different yet similar feeling to sharing the area with new visitors. It feels even better looking at all the wonderful feedback we received!
Manitou Lodge 2020 Year In Review
“Beautiful! A girlfriend and I recently stayed at Manitou Lodge and absolutely loved it. Our room was beautiful and cozy, the communication was great and the proximity to the rainforest and beaches was amazing! Will definitely be visiting again!“

“An unexpectedly cool stay – I reserved this place somewhat last minute … The room was comfortable, the basket of breakfast items in the fridge was nice, and the extra amenities in the common room (wine glasses, bottle openers) [were] great … fun stay, would stay again.“

“Our favorite 2 nights on the Olympic Peninsula – This beautiful and secluded spot was just the perfect place to relax and get away. We stayed in the Owl and found it comfortable and with ample space for the 4 of us. We loved walking around the lovely grounds, reading on the deck, and just taking in the beauty from all the large windows in the cabin. During our stay we took advantage of the proximity to Rialto Beach, Forks, and the Hoh Rainforest … Our only disappointment was that the main lodge and dining were not available due to the pandemic … I guess we will just have to go back for another stay!”

“Beautiful Setting, Great Location – We stayed in the Lily of the Mohawk room and found it to be nice and cozy. The bed was super comfortable. The setting is gorgeous and conveniently located to the beach and rainforest.”
Allison Z – July 2020
“My wife and I stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon and really enjoyed it. The room was cozy, clean, and we loved the location between La Push/Rialto Beach, Forks, Ruby Beach, and Olympic National Park. Perfect!“
Brendan – September 2020
