Hoh Rainforest Lodging at Manitou Lodge
Let Manitou Lodge be your home away from home for Hoh Rainforest lodging. Our Forks area accommodations are situated on ten lush, forested acres. Staying with us puts the Hoh Rainforest and all other Olympic National Park attractions within easy reach.
The minute you see Manitou Lodge, nestled amongst the trees of the rainforest, you’ll be thrilled you booked your stay here. Our lodge’s classic lines merge beautifully with its surroundings and offer some of the best, most fitting accommodations in the area.
Our ten acres of coastal rainforest encircle not just the lodge, cottages, cabins, and camping but also wonderful trails, picnic areas, and more to explore. Should you decide to have a vacation “down day” you’ll still be smack dab in the middle of one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Nearby Attractions
The Hoh Rainforest in Olympic National Park is only 45 minutes from Manitou Lodge. The forest sees 14 inches of rain a year (!) and has remained unchanged for thousands of years. Walking through its Hall of Mosses is a surreal experience. You half expect elves or fauns to appear!
Lake Crescent, at the northern edge of Olympic National Park, is a similar distance away. The glacially carved lake’s deep waters are pristine and one of the area’s most popular outdoor recreation destinations. Marymere Falls are just a short hike away – and don’t miss a chance to take a dip in the Devil’s Punchbowl.
Looking to hit the area’s iconic beaches? Popular Rialto Beach is just 3 miles away. Visitors love its two beautiful sea stacks, tidal pools, and the surf-carved Hole-in-the-Wall attraction. Iconic La Push, is just 9 miles down the road, followed by First Beach, Second Beach, and Third Beach.
Interested in sparkling vampires (or maybe just a little of civilization)? Downtown Forks, WA is less than 20 minutes away. Twilight fans will enjoy touring the book and movie related sights around town.
And More …
We’ve touched on just a few of the many attractions that are in the area. Others, like Hurricane Ridge, Sol Duc Hot Springs, and Kalaloch are a similar distance away. No matter what brought you here, the convenient location of our Hoh Rainforest lodging provides easy access to it all.
