May 06, 2008: Unannounced Mother's Day Special! We'll be serving complimentary Sunday morning tea for lodge guests accompanied by scones, British jam, and Devonshire Clotted Cream. Trust us, the clotted cream (with a consistency somewhere between cream and butter) alone is worth the extra gasoline. Seattle Magazine: This month Seattle Magazine has published an "Ultimate Coast Guide". We're pleased to be a featured lodging. Look for us on page 78.

"Outback" and "Outback Too"
Our "Upscale-Camping" Cabins
Outback: Our original "upscale-camping" unit (for updated photos Click Here ). Outback is a small 8' x 12' cabin just a couple of steps from the main lodge building. This unit is fully carpeted and contains a double bed (all linens, etc. provided), sink with hot and cold water, spaceheater. As do all our rooms, Outback has a minirefrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker. Outback occupants will have access to a small bathroom inside the lodge (shared with Outback Too - see below). This bathroom has a commode and hot-water sink, but it is important to recognize that there is no shower. Pay showers are readily available at the Three Rivers Resort just two miles away. $1 will clean you up nicely. Outback can accommodate a maximum of 2 people.
Outback Too. This cabin is approximately 12' x 12', the increased size allowing for a queen bed.(Click thumbnail at left for larger photos). Like Outback, this unit has a hot-water sink, spaceheater, as well as a minirefrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker. Outback Too occupants will share a small bathroom inside the lodge with the other Outback cabin occupants. This bathroom has a commode and hot-water sink, but no shower. As noted above, pay showers are readily available at the Three Rivers Resort just two miles away. $1 will clean you up nicely. Outback Too can accommodate a maximum of 2 people.
The Outback Season These cabins are open approximately May 1-Sept 30, and offer some of the roughing-it features of camping while at the same time permitting access to such niceties as a real bathroom and sink. Outback can also provide sleeping space for members of larger groups or families. In this configuration, the family members relegated to Outback can shower in a room rented by another family member.
