Shi-Shi Beach - named by Outside Magazine as their "No. 1
Sweetest Beach" (see page 90 in the August 2003 issue).
Shi-Shi can be accessed either from Lake Ozette by hiking to Cape Alava and then 10 miles north
on the coast, or by driving to Neah Bay, south to Hobuck Beach and then a little further to the
Shi-Shi trailhead. The rough, frequently muddy 3 mile trail to the beach is undergoing
considerable upgrading
