We provide a complete “Breakfast-in-a-Basket” at our Forks B&B, allowing our guests the flexibility to eat whenever they wish. This approach was adopted after observing that our “typical” guests are very much activity-oriented. They’re itching to get out to the nearby beaches & tidepools at low tide, have made plans to visit the rainforest, beaches, & local hot springs in a single day, or are sprinting to Sea-Tac airport, the Victoria Ferry, the San Juans, or the Mt. Rainier/Mt. St. Helens area.
Breakfast Basket: Here’s how breakfast at our Forks B&B works: Each room has a dining area with a refrigerator, microwave and toaster, at which we’ve provided plates, juice glasses, napkins, flatware, etc. We place the breakfast baskets consisting of a main course, fruit, juice, yogurt/granola, toast, and homemade muffins in the refrigerator located in (or, in some cases, just outside) each room. There are several picnic tables on the grounds for outdoor dining in warm weather.
Coffee/Tea/Hot Chocolate: Each room at our Forks B&B has an individual coffeemaker with coffee packets. Extra freshly-ground coffee will be available starting just before 8 AM in the lodge main room. There is a reasonably extensive selection of teas and hot chocolate packets available in the amenities area in the lodge main room. Tea and hot chocolate drinkers may want to make their selection before retiring.
Please Note: The breakfast baskets are compiled and placed in each room’s refrigerator usually before check-in. Hence, if anyone in your party is vegetarian, lactose-, wheat-, or otherwise intolerant of something we might be likely to serve, we would very much appreciate knowing about dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
