We provide a complete “Breakfast-in-a-Basket” at our Forks B&B, allowing our guests the flexibility to eat whenever they wish. This approach was adopted after observing that our “typical” guests are very much activity-oriented. They’re itching to get out to the nearby beaches & tidepools at low tide, have made plans to visit the rainforest, beaches, & local hot springs in a single day, or are sprinting to Sea-Tac airport, the Victoria Ferry, the San Juans, or the Mt. Rainier/Mt. St. Helens area.
Breakfast Basket: Here’s how breakfast at our Forks B&B works. Each room has a dining area with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker; we also provide plates, juice glasses, napkins, flatware, etc. We place the breakfast baskets consisting of a main course, orange juice, yogurt/granola, toast and other goodies in each guest refrigerator. Feel free to enjoy your breakfast in your private dining area or at the table in the Great Room. There are several picnic tables on the grounds for outdoor dining in warm weather.
Coffee/Tea/Hot Chocolate: Each room at our Forks B&B has an individual coffeemaker with amenitites. Coffee service (freshly-ground coffee!) will be available at 8am in the lodge main room. There is hot chocolate, apple cider and a selection of teas available in the amenities area in the lodge main room.
Please Note: The breakfast baskets are placed in each room’s refrigerator usually before check-in. We are able to cater to vegetarian and gluten free diet restrictions; we would very much appreciate knowing at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate dietary needs, however, guests should feel free to bring any food they might need.
